As we honed our live chops with some awesome gigs, Donna and I kept busy in the studio, and now have some new songs on the Blue On Black Bandcamp page. Some of the new material is already in the live show, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive, so we’re thinking perhaps an album release may realistically happen in 2026.
Between writing songs in altered tunings and learning a bit of slide, my onstage guitar rack has been extended to hold the extra instruments. Labour intensive, but the fun I have more than makes up for the extra lugging!
The band is currently in rehearsals for some upcoming shows that include our first date for 2026, so it’s good to keep a creative flow happening.
