Blue On Black Bandcamp

Blue On Black now have a Bandcamp page where select tracks from the band’s repertoire can be streamed and downloaded. Blue On Black will be appearing at the Roleystone Musician’s Club on the 14th of June, when they will be playing a full set of original material plus a moi-arranged reboot of the Memphis Minnie/Led Zeppelin blues classic, ‘When The Levee Breaks’.
The songs on Bandcamp are a mixed bag of styles, reflecting my eclectic meanderings from influence to influence as songs were being born. This means that the number of guitars needed to perform the different tunings and ranges has increased accordingly, giving me a bit to do between songs. It’s going to be quite a display of Ormsby guitars, and I’m looking forward to getting the songs heard with the band. Gig details and updates can be found on my Facebook page.
